CHS Guard

Thank you all for supporting our Central Winter Guard through this amazing 2010 season! Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and now we have to focus on preparing our remaining guard for the possible 2011 Fall Season (Marching Band). We are always looking for more members so if you would like to be a part of our guard please sign up as soon as possible!

Guard, also known as Color Guard, is a key part of the marching band, not musically, but visually. Our Central guard amazed everyone last year in the 2008 Marching Band Season with their flag tosses, catches, and rifle work, earning them the title of Best Guard for Class 1. It may seem easy at first, tossing and catching flags, but looks can be very deceiving.
